دیجیتالی کردن و کاربرد هوش مصنوعی فرآیند تولید، نیازی در صنعت امروزی است. پیشرفت‌های سریع در تکنولوژی ساخت و تولید در حال حاضر در حال تغییر از تولید انبوه به تولید سفارشی است. عبارت صنعت ۴.۰ برای چهارمین انقلاب صنعتی است که به عنوان پیشرفت‌های سریع در تکنولوژی تولید و سطح جدیدی از سازمان و کنترل بر کل زنجیره ارزش چرخه عمر محصولات تعریف می‌شود؛صنعت ۴.۰ هنوز نظری است اما یک مفهوم واقعی است که شامل ادغام توانایی های انسانی در فرآیند تولید است تا بهبود مستمر داشته باشد و بر ارزش افزوده صنعت اینترنت، تولید هوشمند و تولید مبتنی بر نظریات تمرکز کند.صنعت ۴.۰ مربوط به پسماندهای جامد و پرهیز از به کار گیری مواد زاید است.هدف این مقاله ارایه یک مرور کلی از صنعت ۴.۰ با کاربردهای آن و شناسایی چالش‌ها و مسایل مربوط به پیاده‌سازی ۴.۰ و توجیه اجتناب از به کارگیری ضایعات می‌باشد.

Digitization and intelligentization of manufacturing process is the need for today’s industry. The manufacturing industries are currently changing from mass production to customized production. The rapid advancements in manufacturing technologies and applications in the industries help in increasing productivity. The term Industry 4.0 stands for the fourth industrial revolution which is defined as a new level of organization and control over the entire value chain of the life cycle of products; it is geared towards increasingly individualized customer requirements. Industry 4.0 is still visionary but a realistic concept which includes Internet of Things, Industrial Internet, Smart Manufacturing and Cloud based Manufacturing. Industry 4.0 concerns the strict integration of human in the manufacturing process so as to have continuous improvement and focus on value adding activities and avoiding wastes. The objective of this paper is to provide an overview of Industry 4.0 and understandin
