عوامل تعیین کننده ی تفکر استراتژیک در کودکان پیش دبستانی

تفکر استراتژیک یک مولفه ی کلیدی از تصمیم گیری منطقی می باشد. با این حال، جنبه های توسعه ی آن کم تر شناخته شده است. در این پژوهش نشان می دهیم که کودکان پیش دبستانی می توانند به صورت استراتژیک در تصمیمات فردی ساده ای که نیازمند پیش بینی تعداد محدودی از تصمیمات آینده هستند، استدلال کنند. این قابلیت تنها به صورت جزئی برای حل مشکلات پیچیده تر تصمیم گیری فردی و تعامل موثرتر با سایرین تفسیر می شود. این قابلیت همچنین در میان کودکان بزرگ تر در کلاس پیشرفته تر می باشد. نتایج نشان می دهد در حالی که پیش دبستانی ها به صورت بالقوه دارای قابلیت تفکر استراتژیک هستند، اما این قابلیت همیشه به معنای توانایی رفتار استراتژیک نمی باشد.

Strategic thinking is an essential component of rational decision-making. However, little is
known about its developmental aspects. Here we show that preschoolers can reason strategically in simple individual decisions that require anticipating a limited number of future decisions. This ability is transferred only partially to solve more complex individual decision
problems and to efficiently interact with others. This ability is also more developed among
older children in the classroom. Results indicate that while preschoolers potentially have
the capacity to think strategically, it does not always translate into the ability to behave
strategically.
