کاربرد مفهوم میراث امروزی به عنوان روشی برای فرآیند تصمیم‌گیری در چشم‌انداز شهری

طراحی شهری نیاز دارد که به مناظر شهری با زمینه‌های تاریخی واکنش نشان دهد، در حالی که فعالانه با فرآیند تصمیم‌گیری تعامل دارد، که در آن اجزای قدیمی و جدید یک شهر با یکدیگر ترکیب می‌شوند تا معانی جدیدی برای کاربران ایجاد کنند. شناخت پتانسیل میراث در بافت امروزی آن، هویت مکانی و ارتباطات فضایی و تاریخی، منظره شهری را افزایش خواهد داد. مفهوم میراث امروزی را می توان به عنوان مکان و رویکرد مردم محور به سوی میراث و مکان های شهری درک کرد. مقاله حاضر، این رویکرد را از طریق تحلیل فضایی سیستم‌های غنی‌سازی تاریخی در مناظر شهری امروزی مورد بررسی قرار می‌دهد و پیشنهاد می‌کند که میراث امروزی نقش مهمی در آشکار سازی پتانسیل یک مکان ایفا می‌کند و به طور مثبت بر ایجاد مکان ها در درون طراحی شهری تاثیر می‌گذارد.

Urban design needs to respond to urban landscapes with historical contexts, while actively engaging with the place-making process, where the old and new components of a city merge to create new meanings for users. Unlocking the potential of heritage in its everyday context will enhance place identity, and spatial and historic connectivity of the urban landscape. The concept of everyday heritage can be understood as a place and people-led approach towards urban heritage and place-making. This paper examines this approach through a spatial analysis of historic fortification systems in everyday urban landscapes, and suggests that everyday heritage plays an important role in unfolding a place’s potential, which positively influences place-making within urban design.
